About Locksmith Aspe

Who you are calling, and how the work is done

Locksmith Aspe is a mobile locksmith: a van, the tools and parts in it, and a phone that is answered in English or Spanish. It works out of Aspe and covers the town, its countryside and three neighbouring towns, with 22 years in the trade behind it.

The way of working

How a job is done, from the call to the bill

No shop counter. There are no premises open to the public; the business is the van. That is why the address you give, or a location pin, matters so much.

Straight answers on the phone. Where the van is, roughly how long the drive will take, and whether the job sounds like one for a locksmith at all. If it does not, you are told so.

The price before the work. The lock is looked at first, then the price is agreed with you at the door, before anything is done. It is paid by cash, card or Bizum.

Day and night where it matters. The phone is answered at any hour, and lockouts, doors and cars are attended at night. Planned work, such as a lock change, is booked in working hours. See the emergency page.

The work

What Locksmith Aspe does

All of it across Aspe, Montesol, the urbanisations and the parajes, and in Hondón de las Nieves, Hondón de los Frailes and Agost: see where we go.

The work it turns down

Jobs that always get a polite no

This is a locksmith for doors, locks, cars and safes, not a key cutter. None of the following is offered, in Aspe or anywhere else:

  • Cutting, copying or duplicating keys of any kind
  • Spare keys for houses, gates, garages, letterboxes or padlocks
  • Car keys: no cutting, supplying, replacing or programming
  • Transponder chips and vehicle remote controls
  • Ignition barrels and ignition switches
  • Keys for motorbikes, scooters or vans

With cars, the service is opening a locked car with the keys inside it, and nothing else: the car lockout page explains it.

About the photographs

A word on the pictures on this site

The photographs on these pages are illustrations, not portraits of staff or records of real jobs. They show the van livery and the kind of work described, nothing more.

Reviews are not published on this site either; the reviews page explains why. Any question at all can go through the contact page.

Questions before you decide?

Ring and ask. If the job is not one for a locksmith, you will hear that too.
